Responsibilities:
Coordinate the planning and implementation of water systems solutions for construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Manage the execution of water systems installation, including piping networks, pumps, valves, and associated equipment, while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Collaborate closely with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of water systems into overall project requirements.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to water systems installation and commissioning.
Assist in Quantity Surveying (QS) tasks such as preparing cost estimates, monitoring project costs, and evaluating variations.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during the construction phase, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
At least diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
At least 2 years as a Project Engineer or similar position in the construction industry specializing in water systems in Singapore.
Strong knowledge of water systems design, installation, and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing water systems.
Experience in Quantity Surveying is advantageous.
